Employment and Labor Laws that Impact a Particular Organization and Industry

 

Create a presentation for senior leadership in which you as the presenter analyze
the different labor laws that would specifically pertain to your organization within
the industry in which it operates. You will want to include an analysis of a
minimum of five (5) laws that are pertinent and must be followed in your
organization. Provide specific examples of compliance and possible violations of
each law. In addition, you will need to discuss HOW these laws will be followed by
all in the organization and what the company will do if these laws are violated. How
does the implementation of these laws support the mission, vision and values of
your organization?

In addition to your presentation, prepare a brief handout that highlights the
important items that you want your audience to retain from the presentation. For
instance, you may create a chart that illustrates the five laws you selected and
indicates what policy will be for violations of such laws. The handout may also be
in the form of a brochure. This component of the activity may be created as a Word
document, in Microsoft Publisher, or any other program you see fit.

For your presentation, incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and
graphics as well as “s peaker notes ” for each slide. The speaker notes may be
comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.

Support your presentation with at least one (1) scholarly resource. In addition to
these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included.
Presentation Length: 6-8 slides (with a separate reference slide)

Notes Length: 50-100 words for each slide

Handout Length: 1-2 pages
