Order Description

 

1. Examine these two primary Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) task, provide support for domestic disasters and provide support for domestic civilian law
enforcement according to ADP 3-28.
a. Expound upon these two primary tasks and their requirements.
b. Synthesize these two primary (DSCA) tasks, provide support for domestic disasters and provide support for domestic civilian law enforcement demonstrating how they
can support each other and their relationships.
c. Describe how my input as a Soldier will allow for a completer picture of these two primary tasks for my commander. Support with historical example use Hurricane
Katrina.

2. Examine the four stability mechanisms (compel, control, influence, and support), according to ADRP 3-07.
a. Expound upon each stability mechanism.
b. Synthesize how the four stability mechanisms relate to each other and challenges that you see employing these mechanisms.
c. Describe how my input as a Soldier will allow for a completer picture of stability mechanisms in relation to Unified Land Operations for my commander.

3. Examine the Army’s six primary stability tasks (establish civil security, establish civil support, restore essential services, support to governance, support to
economic and infrastructure development, and conduct security cooperation according to ADRP 3-07.
a. Expound upon establish civil security, establish civil support, and restore essential services.
b. Synthesize how establish civil security, establish civil support, and restore essential services support each other and are interrelated.
c. Describe how my input as a Soldier will allow for a completer picture of principles of stability for my commander. Support with historical example use Operation
Iraqi Freedom II.

4. Examine the three defensive tasks, area defense, mobile defense, and retrograde according to ADRP 3-90.
a. Expound upon the defensive tasks of area defense, mobile defense, and retrograde.
b. Synthesize area defense and mobile defense demonstrating how they are support each other and how they are interrelated.
c. Describe how my input as a Soldier will allow for a completer picture of principles of tasks of the defense for my commander. Support with historical example. The
historical example use Manstein’s Donbas Operation, February 1943. The concept of a mobile defense did not enter into Army doctrine until it has the chance the review
German lessons learned as a result of its World War II experiences in Russia.
