Goal: To demonstrate effective communication and negotiation of care in a person centred client
situation.

Product: A short video of a. person centred, client interaction, together with a 1.000 word reflection on
person centred communication.

Format: In this task you will work in groups of 3 – each student wil alternatively act as client. service
provider and recorder to respond to a client interaction. This will be video recorded by the
student in the recorder role.
While you will work in groups to produce the video, this is an individual task. You will submit
the video where you are in the role of service provider. The 1,000 word reflection is related to
this interaction and reflection on person centred communication. Your tutorial work will
prepare you for this group activity. Full details and tips for submission will be available on
Blackboard.
