The freshmen″ concert at UIC

Demonstrate rhetorical awareness of audience through different genre-based assignments. • Defend a position in relation to the range of ideas surrounding a topic. •
Demonstrate knowledge of writing as a process, including consideration of peer and instructor feedback, from initial draft to final revision • Demonstrate sentence-
level correctness. Review should bring attention to subject, and reviewers have power in determining who and what gets the exposer crucial to finding an audience.
Because formal features of reviews differ based on the type of activity they detail, this project will allow you to explore various strategies for writing about
varying topics in the review genre.Your review does not need to paint the event in a positive light. If the event did not accomplish its purpose be sure to explain how
and why in your review (do not state that you “didn’t like it”). You should also begin to make an argument about why this activity enriches (or failed to enrich) the
overall UIC community. *notes on my experiences and opinions about the experience* -The volume of speakers was really good/good quality -each artist made a good entry
-old and classic songs were played between short pauses and entry of next artist -microphone quality was good -none of the artist lip singed / 100% live -overall good
concert *im ok with the writer making up parts of the experience as long as it leads to the conclusion that it was a good concert* -please include background of the
artists in relation to the concert i will leave examples http://www.variancemagazine.com/sights/8445-freshmen-concert-chicago-photos-cardi-b-young-thug
