However. there have been many in recorded history that significantly impacted human civilization. Choose
one significantly important earthquake or volcano and report on it. Be sure to cover how it affected the Earth.

2.The Walled Complex at Mycenae

The builders of Mycenae go to great lengths to discourage easy access to the complex. Identify the feature
you believe was the most effective defensive measure and justify your selection. Then compare this feature
to a modern building that discourages easy entrance (or exit). How are these two structures similar and
different? What explains these similarities and differences?
3.Application– Chronic Kidney Disease
According to the National Kidney Foundation, 26 million adults in the United States have chronic kidney disease with millions of others at risk (National Kidney Foundation, 2012). Over time, this
disorder will become progressively worse, and patients will eventually experience a loss of renal function. Early detection and prevention is key for patients with this disorder. For this reason,
it is important for you, as the provider, to be aware of various signs, symptoms, and risk factors of chronic kidney disease. In this Assignment, you explore the disorder including the role that
patient history, physical exams, and diagnostics play in diagnosis and treatment.
