A knowledge of the needs and wants of target customer segments is critical for a marketer’s success. Identify a demographic market segment that you feel you know well. Describe the segment’s
demographic profile, its primary characteristics, and needs.

When your profile of the segment is complete, locate an advertisement that you feel effectively addresses one or more needs of the market segment you have identified. Be sure to include in your
post the demographics of the market segment, a description of how the advertisement addresses the need, and a link to your “effective” advertisement. Many advertisements can be found at
