4.3 Unit Assignment: Response Paper
Unit Four Introduction This unit will be comprised of the following components: reading, discussion, and a response paper. Wow! You have really entered into the culture of this field! We hope some of the ideas from this course have crept into many other areas of your life by now. All of our learning and life experiences influence and inform one another. Never hesitate (when it is appropriate and you feel comfortable) to share about how this course is interacting with your life and other courses that you may be taking. We can all learn from one another! Once again, as a reminder: We have the purpose of engaging specific areas for the progression of our course. Each of the components of our units, the reading, the discussion, and the writing assignments will explore our material. Our exploration, discussion, and writing will stretch us and push us to learn more about this exciting field that God is using to touch the lives of people all around us every day. This knowledge will equip us to be a part of that work. Our unit is structured around the theology and theories we are exploring this week. This week we are exploring a theology of sin as it relates to diagnosing heart issues. In addition, we will continue looking at ways to be assertive in the counseling environment. You will find great leadership through this unit’s reading material. Texts have been chosen for you that will be useful long past the finish of this course. Your reading has been intense for this course.
