Educational intervention to stress and heart disease among the Latino population in Riverside County in Southern California.
We operate as non-profit organization( NPO), established in 2011 by a group of 4 active members who grew up in the community( Southern California) and knew the challenges facing the minority ethnic groups (mainly Latinos) in the U.S. Our mission is to make positive changes in the community by providing the tools needed to educate and increase the health knowledge to succeed today and hope for a better healthier community. We offer a variety of programs at our organization to meet the need of those we serve. The programs focused on preventive health care and education. This Non Profit Organization is trying to get a grant from the American Heart Association to support their project which focus on an educational intervention program related to stress and heart disease among the Latino population in Riverside County in Southern California.
