Eighty-one-year-old Ms. Johnson has always been independent. She is unmarried, no children and lives in a large house in a rural community. She has no intention of relocating but cant get around as well as she once did. She is competent but you are concerned about her safety and welfare. 1. What could you do to help Ms. Johnson and how could her changing needs be balanced with her desire for independence? 2.
