1) In which ways does culture impact negotiation practices in the business setting? Please provide two assumptions used in cross-cultural negotiations, as discussed in the video.
2) Imagine you are the Executive Director of a Fortune 500 company, overseeing a cultural diversity program and you are responsible for working with employees who have experienced a dispute as a result of cultural differences. What steps would you take to mediate between these employees? If you were asked to prepare training so that this can be avoided in the future, what kinds of legal, social, and economic environments on policies and procedures would you include in this training? 3) Look up a source that discusses the primary dimensions of diversity. What do you think are some of the benefits of ensuring that managers understand the primary dimensions of diversity?
