Exaggerations or distortions created by dramas

What types of exaggerations or distortions do dramas create?
Television and movies are filled with portrayals of charismatic teachers. Popular movies, such as Freedom Writers, Stand and Deliver, Mr. Holland’s Opus,Dead Poets’ Society, Dangerous Minds and many others have a particularly charged moment of the teacher expressing his or her expectations for the class or for a particular student. Select a scene and find a clip you can share from a movie or T.V. show. Based on the clip, identify how the teacher communicated the expectations to the students, and if the teacher’s behavior was consistent with the principles presented in the text. What types of exaggerations or distortions do dramas create? Contrast the clip with actual experiences from your own experience or field observations. Be sure to describe the scene of movie being referenced or provide a link to the scene you are evaluating, and cite your reference.
