Using NU Library EBSCO and ProQuest data bases, each class member will identify and select one peer-reviewed practitioner research study that connects the efforts of others and informs the class member’s specific relational MAE 610 instructor approved practitioner research question. Each class member will then author a written review of the selected research study.
Remember that the relational practitioner research question MUST conform to the following format: What is the relationship between the implementation of (IV)-based teaching and measures of (DV) in (X) learners?
IV = Independent variable (must be an instructional approach or innovation); DV = Dependent Variable (usually an assessment of a skill, knowledge or comportment); x = age/grade/type/characteristic
All copies of the paper are to be written using APA 7th edition using the headings listed below.
The paper will summarize the research study, including the following sections:
• Introduction that states the class member’s specific relational practitioner research question in a purpose statement
(Practitioner Research Question) * What is the relationship between the implementation of play-based learning and the measurement of social and emotional cognitive development?
o inquiry/research question,
How can play learning can give stimulation to kindergarteners that lack cognitive support in a social child-related environment?
o methods, measures and procedures,
o limitations and/or implications for further study
• Closing section that summarizes and analyzes the findings of the reviewed study
