words long each. Refer to specific passages to support your answer. Describe the tone of ″The Tell-Tale Heart″. In what ways does Poe manipulate the language to convey
his feelings of the subject matter? What stock characters are present in this story? Why point of view is this story written from; how can you tell? Why is the
narrative problematic because of this? What would you say is the climax of the story? Why? This story includes only one instance of dialog. Why would Poe have included
it? Why would he have excluded dialog in the remainder of the story? Discuss elements of setting in ″A Tell-Tale Heart″. How do they contribute to the mood, and the
