Research a company related to a practice that has unethical connotations. Then research and review that company's code of ethics and write a short paper on what core value(s) you think is most important and how the company is honoring (or not) that core value(s).
Here are some questions to guide you in writing your paper:
- What company did you choose?
- What industry is the company in (oil refinement, manufacturing of autos, etc)
- Summarize the unethical practice.
- What is (or are) their core value(s) as stated in their code of ethics, value or mission statement. See example below.
- How is the practice you described in #3 violating and/or compromising their core values.
- Summarize by giving a general reaction/opinion to what you learned about this company; how do you feel about what you learned?
