Start by researching the literature regarding recommended content of policy manuals as well as a variety
of intercollegiate athletic manuals. Use these examples and information to decide what you will include in
Champ’s policy and procedures manual. This manual should be designed for an audience of staff and
student athletes.
Begin your PowerPoint presentation by addressing the importance of this policy and procedure manual
and the goals steering your manual. Then, compare and contrast other institutions’ manuals (minimum of
three, one must be from a Division II institution). Review policies and procedures manuals from at least
three universities as part of your research to justify what you would include in this manual. Be sure one of
these is a Division II institution.
