Describe a quality improvement initiative at your organization. If you work in health care, this can be a CMS
value-based program (ie. hospital acquired condition or hospital readmission reduction) or if you do not work in
health care, you can provide an example that your organization implemented to improve outcomes for the
consumer and/or employees. Discuss any barriers encountered and the mindset of the employees…did they
think it was a worthwhile endeavor? Did they comply because they “had to” or because they supported the
cause and it was “the right thing to do” for the organization/beneficiaries? In retrospection, what might the HSA
done differently to enhance the outcomes?
