This is an essay to Nominate a Special Caregiver for a gift card/certificate for caring for someone in their
family. I'm nominating Christi Moore. She has 6 year old daughter that has Autism with a Severe Speech
Impairment. Christi takes up a lot of time with her daughter plus she teaches Autism Students and is a student
working towards her certification as an Educational Diagnostician. Her daughter Brooke, attends Freshwater
Elementary School where she is in an Autism Classroom. She receives Speech Therapy through the school
and at a Private Practice-DMS Therapy Services. She has trouble writing and with transitions. She has
improved with expressing her needs/wants, interacting with others, and her communication skills. Please
include characteristics of a Caregiver to describe why Christi deserves this nomination and gift.
