AIMS/OBJECTIVES
- The systematic review must identify what constitutes major upstream petroleum disaster risk within subsaharan Africa, particularly Ghana (As similar to or distinct from petroleum disaster incidents in other parts of the world)
- Must identify the current status/ state of institutional capability (public institutions, ie. disaster management, environmental protection etc.) for disaster risk reduction within the upstream petroleum sector of subsaharan Africa countries, focus on Ghana
