    Explain how the court uses the trimester system in Roe v. Wade
    Explain the undue burden test in Planned Parenthood v. Casey
  4. Re-read pp. 363-370 and analyze in your own words the ethical conflict that can come up when a fetus needs treatment but the mother declines to give informed consent (“maternal-fetal conflicts”), with an in depth look into the “Angie Carder” and “Samantha Burton” cases, including their respective facts, and related prudential reasoning, providers’ perspectives, court decisions, and ethical issues.
