Vulnerable populations: Post your short presentation titled: The nurses guide to working with _ as a
Vulnerable population:in the Community (1- 2 page handout) posted to discussion board in this Module 6 for
classmates and faculty review. Use the Class power point notes posted for each section and textbook as
needed to Focus on why this group is Vulnerable and how would this impact on the Nurses role as Community
Health Nurse.
YOU MAY CHOOSE any of the populations below that would best fit your learning needs. It is Ok if students
pick the same group as I want this to be applicable to your present nursing role or one you are shooting for in
the future or what fits your personal needs at this time. Why is this population vulnerable or what role of the
nurse listed would work with a vulnerable group of people. This should be available for all students to print and
use in Nursing Practice. You should present to at least one RN in Nursing Practice for input on clarity and
usefulness to Nursing Practice. See Guide/Rubric for questions to answer to complete this guide. Post by first
day of Module 6 to allow time for review and comments.
