Papers should address an area of concern or study in adolescent development. Some examples are: mental health (depression, suicide, anxiety); peer relationships; cyber bullying; college access and choice; teen pregnancy; sexual identity; intellectual disabilities and high school education; relationships with parents; substance abuse; dating; political involvement. Your paper should provide an overview of the prevalence of the issue, what current research has been done, where gaps in research are, and some conclusions based on that research. This discussion is to be written assuming your audience has little knowledge about the topic and you are responsible for filling the knowledge gap.
