Airbnb Case Study using Choice Model

In this activity, you will act as a marketing consultant for Airbnb.
Airbnb must constantly analyze which needs, desires, and preferences are most important to attracting (onboarding) customers and retaining hosts. In this graded assessment, you are required to analyze the data to identify the variables/factors that lead to new customers using Airbnb to book a room in the Eugene area, and that lead to hosts in the area to keep listing their property on Airbnb.
Read the Data Analytics Case 2 “Airbnb-Choice-Models-Case”, and focus on the ‘data’ section on pages 3-5 to get familiar with the data collected.
Analyze the two data sets provided to you in two separate SPSS files. The first data is Traveller Data and the other is Host Data. Your analysis of both data sets will help you understand the questions raised by Airbnb.
List each statistically significant predictor of a traveler’s likelihood to book on Airbnb, and provide a brief explanation of what may cause a significant statistical relationship for each variable.
Follow the same process to find significant predictors for Airbnb retaining hosts.
