America's movements and its music

In this essay, I’d like you to explore a movement in America that was greatly empowered or moved through the message and music of an artist or genre. Think of the punk movement and how they paired with 80’s America or even hip/hop and rap in the 80s and early 90s America. You may even want to look at the correlation of America’s War with Vietnam and how folk music advocated for peace and freedom. This assignment asks you to create an inquiry question about America’s history and how music changed a community or subculture. Investigate important questions that emerged from that moment in history and why its an important part of the American fabric.
