Develop an educational unit for elementary or middle school on sustainable principles.
Requirements:
• Keep in mind the scope and time frame of the project. The project should be big enough to count for 200
points, but manageable enough to complete in two weeks. (I will help you with this when reviewing your initial
proposal.)
• You must create something for your project. Examples: upcycled outfit; restaurant design, floorplan, menus,
facilities list; PPTs and assignments for sustainability teaching unit
• You should document with photos all aspects, stages, steps of your project.
• Initial Project Proposal: – write a summary of your idea and explain what you will create and
what your five pages of writing and ten photos/documents will include. Include at least 2 citations.
• Your Final Project should consist of:
o 5-6 pages of writing describing your project (introduction, main body, conclusion, and 3-4
citations required)
o 10 photos/images/documents of your project with APA Figure headings (e.g., marketing
materials, plans, sketches, products, photos from your educational event) that that you have
created for your project (no images from internet, these must be created by you)
