Project sponsors and key stakeholders: The project sponsors were the owner of the small business and the marketing manager. The key stakeholders were the website visitors and the customers of the small business.
Business requirements: The business requirements for the website were to:
- Provide information about the products and services offered by the small business.
- Enable customers to make online purchases.
- Promote the small business to potential customers.
Project scope: The project scope was to develop a website that met the business requirements. The scope was realistic given the timeline and budget provided.
Scope creep: There was some scope creep during the project. For example, the owner of the small business decided to add a blog to the website. We were able to manage the scope creep by adjusting the timeline and budget.
End goal: We met our end goal of launching the website on time and within budget. The website met the business requirements and has been successful in promoting the small business to potential customers.
Communication within the team: The communication within the team was excellent. We used a variety of communication tools, including email, instant messaging, and video conferencing. We held regular meetings to discuss the project progress and to resolve any issues.
Priorities and meetings/discussions: The project manager led the meetings and discussions. The priorities for the project were to meet the deadline, stay within budget, and meet the business requirements.
Impact of my decisions: My decisions had a positive impact on the project's cost, schedule, and performance. I was able to manage the scope creep and keep the project on track. I also made sure that the project met the business requirements.
I am proud of the work that I did on this project. I was able to successfully manage a complex project and deliver a product that met the needs of the client.
