ANALYSIS OF LEARNING POTENTIAL

NB: your analysis does not need to cover all aspects of your chosen topic. You can choose to analyse elements of the scenario that relate to specific aspects of your chosen topic.

2. Write a short in" rel="nofollow">introductory paragraph to in" rel="nofollow">introduce the topic of your essay, explain" rel="nofollow">inin" rel="nofollow">ing what you aim to achieve in" rel="nofollow">in your essay and the areas that you chosen to use for your analysis (approx. 150 words).
3. Analyse the children’s play scenario in" rel="nofollow">in reference to each of your two areas in" rel="nofollow">in turn. Ensure that you i) defin" rel="nofollow">ine each of your chosen topics, ii) explain" rel="nofollow">in why this area is important to consider when thin" rel="nofollow">inkin" rel="nofollow">ing about children’s learnin" rel="nofollow">ing and/or development, and iii) analyse how the children’s play demonstrates and/or supports development and/or learnin" rel="nofollow">ing in" rel="nofollow">in this area.
4. Write one or two concludin" rel="nofollow">ing paragraphs that sum up your analysis and identify 2 different ways (i.e., active practices) which adults could enhance the learnin" rel="nofollow">ing in" rel="nofollow">in children’s play. These
must in" rel="nofollow">include convin" rel="nofollow">incin" rel="nofollow">ing explanations of how these experiences would improve children’s learnin" rel="nofollow">ing or development other than mere provision of materials.
