Application for an undergraduate programme

I would like to apply for an undergraduate program at the School of Social Sciences Waseda University. It is an English-based program, named TAISI. The Transnational and Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Innovation program (TAISI), is the new English-based degree program offered by the School of Social Sciences. The aim of the TAISI program is to create "Social Innovators" and to train students to become leaders for social change. As the world continues to globalize and advance, it has become increasingly important that as citizens of the world, students need to not only approach global issues from an international perspective, but also discover and implement more effective, sustainable, and fair solutions to these issues." https://www.waseda.jp/fsssisssien/abouVcjsp/ As per request, an essay is required. Write an essay of approximately 1000 words that answers the following two questions: 1) In your country or community, identify one social issue that should be addressed and explain why. ( I live in Singapore and the rights of domestic workers or foreign workers are of my interest) 2) During your time at TAISI, what do you hope to leam and how do you think the TAISI program will help you resolve the social issue you identified in question 1.
