Directions: Students are to answer the questions usin" rel="nofollow">ing the assigned readin" rel="nofollow">ings for the week. Students will submit the responses to the question to the onlin" rel="nofollow">ine discussion board. Please consult the syllabus course calendar for assignment readin" rel="nofollow">ings and due dates. Min" rel="nofollow">inimum word count for each question is at least 50 words. Please consult the gradin" rel="nofollow">ing rubric for assignments guidelin" rel="nofollow">ines. Please remember to submit work to safe assign and in" rel="nofollow">include citations of work if you do not use the textbook. However, the textbook is required.
To prepare for this discussion students are to review Unit 3. After reviewin" rel="nofollow">ing Unit 3, answer the followin" rel="nofollow">ing questions in" rel="nofollow">in the discussion board. Students will need to select three questions and respond to them.
Question 1:
Choose at least one significant event in" rel="nofollow">in U.S. history from Unit 3. Create a newspaper headlin" rel="nofollow">ine or a social media post that describes your understandin" rel="nofollow">ing of the American way of life durin" rel="nofollow">ing this period. How did Americans live and survive? How did the Industrial revolution impact the American way of life?

Discuss Andrew Jackson and his role as U.S. President. What conflicts or controversies occurred durin" rel="nofollow">ing his admin" rel="nofollow">inistration? (Identify at least two that you found) What was Andrew Jackson’s legacy as president?
