Bone Detectives: Bone Classification
You and your group mates are a team of forensic scientists and have been called to a murder scene. The police would like to know everythin" rel="nofollow">ing possible about the bones and items found at the crime scene.
1. Photograph and Label the Crime Scene as Discovered
Photograph the crime scene and import your photographs in" rel="nofollow">into powerpoin" rel="nofollow">int. Label all the bones and any
other items you fin" rel="nofollow">ind at scene.
2. Photograph and Label the Skeleton of the Victim or Victims

Collect the bones and lay them out for proper arrangement for the human body and photograph the skeleton with your cell phone. Import the photograph in" rel="nofollow">into powerpoin" rel="nofollow">int. Label all the bones for your victim or victims.
In your photograph be sure to specify the difference between left and right.

Write up a 1-2 page report about your crime scene. Present a plausible explanation as to who you thin" rel="nofollow">ink the victim was based on the clues left behin" rel="nofollow">ind. Also explain" rel="nofollow">in what you would do next if you were the homicide detective assigned to the case. For example. if the victim is travelin" rel="nofollow">ing maybe you would ask for a passenger manifesto of the airlin" rel="nofollow">ine. o Questions or ideas that need to be addressed are
How many victims were there and how do you know this
What was the gender of the victims and what bones lead you to the gender identity. If there weren't any bones available to determin" rel="nofollow">ine the gender
what clues at the scene allowed you to hypothesize the sex of the victim.
