spend the next two weeks researching.
Prepare for this assignment by finding a blank piece of paper and several colored pens/markers/pencils. You
will first read through the reading M4 - Brainstorming using mind-mapping.pdfPreview the document then using
their techniques and strategies, you'll produce a mind-map of your own detailing what goal you'd like to
research and work on for the rest of our time together. Include how you think communication fits into the
subject/issue/concept you will focus upon. What key words will you search in the library? What current
(reputable) news sources are reporting on the subject/goal? How do you think you'd like to make a difference?
What's being done already? What is being ignored? How has your family talked about the subject/goal? What
have you studied so far that relates to the topic/goal?
Once you've spent a few hours thinking, doodling, Googling, pondering, and writing…take a picture of your
