the class and an inside look at what according to Donald Miller, the problem the brand solves.
Assignment: Review the brand in its entirety to get a clear understanding of how it has operated in the past 1-3
years. Identity the following:
Brand mission
Brand messaging
Press/Social Media Presence
StoryBrand Overview
Format Specifications:
Create a presentation using Power Point, Prezi, or some other presentation software;
Organize your presentation as listed below;
About the brand: Give background on the brand and founder (as needed)
Brand mission: What is the overall mission of the brand?
Brand messaging: How does the brand communicate? What are the unique traits of how the brand shares its
message?
Press/Social Media Presence: Has the brand been featured in the press? What is the larger narrative
according to press outlets. Select its most popular social media outlet and include its stats (follower count,
average engagement, impressions, etc).
StoryBrand Overview: Does the brand center the client in its messaging? What problem is brand solving or
attempting to solve? Who or what is its villain?
What will you attempt to emulate in your project launch? In thinking of your final project, what elements of your
brand muse will you use to guide how you position your launch?
Evaluation: You will be evaluated on your overall presentation, content, attention to detail, and format. Ten (10)
of your total points will be compiled from a peer's review of your presentation. Please keep in mind that your
goal is to be clear, concise, and compelling.
