Bullying

Olweus studied bullying early before America was interested in the phenomenon in schools etc.., hence the early cited work. Review the above research findings and respond with potential explanations for these findings. In other words, why would there be a relationship between being a victim of bullying and having parents who are anxious and overprotective? There is now much more research on bullying, indeed this was my focus of attention in graduate school! Use this intro as a launch point to discuss the bullying phenomenon - use your text page 503-504 to help you get started. Do you agree with the above comments? Do you think there are greater issues related to children being bullied? what about cyber -bullying?
