I recently had a negative experience with a large retail chain. I wanted to buy an item which was on sale for a lower price on their website than in store. So I placed the order online and waited for it to arrive at my doorstep. However, when it arrived, the product wasn’t what I expected – the material, design and color were all wrong.
I immediately contacted customer service but they said that since I bought it online they could not refund or exchange it in store so I would have to ship back the item myself and wait until they receive it before sending me out a new one. This would take days if not weeks so I decided to go down to their physical location and try exchanging there instead.
