Imagine that you are Mrs. Dennet  and your principal has just shared with you that Amber and Jesse will be added to your roster. Dennet's 4th Grade Class

Amber -above grade level reading, above writing level, math level ok, social skills ok, emotional development ok, attention- organized and conscientious, no ELL , no special education, ethnicity Caucasian , socioeconomic status middle family is intact parents involved in school.

Jesse- is at grade level in reading, below level for writing, at grade level, in math , social skills are good one on task, emotional development- he has trouble staying in his own space and focusing ,he has difficulty focusing ,he has ADHD ,he's African-American. he's lower-middle-class and his family is a single mother who came to our parent conferences.
