Post title: Your chosen character's name
Paragraph 1: Introduce your chosen character and summarize his or her role in the plot of the play. Focus
on the scenes in which he or she appears and his or her actions and words on- and off-stage. (If you
choose a major character who is in almost every scene, you don't have to be exhaustive here.)
Paragraph 2: Make an argument for a particular interpretation of the importance or function of this
character in communicating the play's overall message or theme. Your underlined topic sentence should
introduce your argument about this character and his or her connection to theme. The rest of your
paragraph should present evidence and analyze Shakespeare's use of this character in the play.
Make sure to include at least 3 direct quotes from the play to support your claims
