child profile

child profile   Shortly after the course begins, students should identify a child 0-5 years whom they will observe and eventually develop a Child Study on. Your own child does not qualify for the project, but other children to whom you are related or children in your classrooms are fine. After identifying the child and collecting background information on the child and the family, students are to provide a detailed desсrіption of the background of the child, including his/her medical history, family conext (e.g., parents’ cultural, educational, professional, and immigration background, home languages, child’s interests, routines at home), and community context (e.g., access to services and resources e.g. library, community garden, museum, park, etc.). Be sure to identify the sources of your information: is it something you observed or experienced? Something the child’s parent or family member told you? Something someone else observed/related? You may also include noteworthy characteristics of the child and/or the family. This paper be about 1 to 2 double-spaced pages in length and uploaded onto the Assignment section on Blackboard by 11:59 PM of the due date.
