Do NOT choose one that she talked about. Instead, think of other single stories that have a big impact on our society (single mothers, Muslims, Trump supporters, blondes, millennials, etc.).
*Remember: single stories are about groups of people.
Be sure to include at least the following in your paper: -What is the single story you chose? Tell us about the story, including its origins and its impact on society. How is the single story still being reinforced or maintained today? -Examine the alternative stories—what types of stories about this group are not being told? -How could you dismantle the single story in your own life and on a broader/society-wide scale? In other words, how could we get rid of this single story? What would have to change for this story to cease to be the only way these people are depicted?
