- Your essay must have an introduction:
This section is, basically, a brief summary of the story. Identify the author, title. End with thesis. - Body paragraphs: As in all essays, each must support the thesis. Please adhere to all rules, as learned in English 1: begin with topic sentence and explain in detail. Quotes must come from primary and secondary sources, but please avoid beginning or ending with these. They must be incorporated in the middle of body paragraphs. PLEASE ADHERE TO MLA RULES!!!
- Conclusion: Begin with thesis and "summarize" essay's main points.
