The Climate Crisis can be solved. It's not that we can stop the planet from warming anymore, indeed we have put as much carbon into the atmosphere since 1950 as we did all the years before 1950, but if we act today then we can avoid the worst impacts. There is a big difference between a planet that stabilizes at 2 degrees Celsius warming and 4 degrees Celsius of warming and the difference will likely determine whether human civilization remains. But, we can even do more than simply stopping the rising atmospheric CO2 levels, we can also bring the CO2 back out of the air and over time get back to the safe level of 350 ppm (this Spring it was at 415 ppm).
Explore the following resources to see the possible paths forward, I'm posing some questions to get you thinking. There are technical solutions like renewable energy or nuclear power, policy ideas like a Carbon Fee and Dividend, and seemingly old fashioned ideas like protecting forests or returning to organic agriculture. There are things that individuals can do but the most important thing is to engage others in change, the scale of the problem requires a solution that scales in size as well.
There are 80 things that scientists have analyzed must happen to bring carbon levels down! Explore some here: https://www.drawdown.org/
