Close reading on "Fiesta 1980" By Junot Diaz

What these elements are will depend on which story you choose. Some things to think about: What is the relationship between the title and the story? Does the author use symbolism? Personification? Metaphor? Foreshadowing? From what point-of-view is the story narrated? Who is the narrator and how does s/he present the tale? What words. phrases. ideas, and concepts repeat throughout the story? It is not enough. though, to just identify these things.
