Compare and contrast Somalia and Venezuela

Write a paper that compares and contrasts Somalia and Venezuela for my developing nations class. Try and compare and contrast the economies, Government, and history of both countries. Possibly add a American democrat/republican contrast to it. For example, republicans point to Venezuela as a failed socialist state, and the result of big Government intervention; whereas, democrats point to the descent of Somalia into anarchy as the reason why we need big government.
