You will identify and craft an original, detailed, real-life example for BOTH:
Classical conditioning
Operant conditioning.
For operant conditioning, choose a habit that you would like to change. Design a program to achieve this goal using at least two of the following strategies: positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, positive punishment, negative punishment. BE SPECIFIC about what reinforcers/punishments you will use and HOW you expect them to achieve your goal of changing your habit.
For example:
Too vague: In order to ensure that I actually complete my workout in the morning, I will use rewards as positive reinforcement. (WHAT are the specific rewards you would use? HOW will this change your habit?)
Specific: In order to ensure that I actually complete my workout in the morning, I will use negative reinforcement by setting an alarm with a loud, annoying tone for my workout, then not being able to turn off the alarm until I have actually started the workout. The aversive sound will motivate me to start the workout at that very moment, as I want to avoid experiencing the negative stimulus of a loud, annoying alarm.
