    Reading response should address the following criteria individually for each article - Read articles in order oftheir year: 1. The author: Who is the person writing this? What is their background? 2. The author's intent: What was the author trying to do with this particular reading? 3. The author's bias: What biases do you detect in the reading that affect the author's analysis? What evidence do you see for this? a. Sources and methodology: What sources does the author consult in this work, and what is his/her methodology for analyzing them? 5. Contribution to the field: What do you believe are this work's major contributions to the field, and why? 6. Shortcomings: Do you detect any errors offact or interpretation? If so, what are they and why are they incorrect? 7. Future research: Based on this reading, what avenues for future research might you recommend?
