Purpose
The purpose of this discussion is to discuss the importance of screenin" rel="nofollow">ing and early in" rel="nofollow">intervention for adolescents.
Instructions
Screenin" rel="nofollow">ing, Brief, Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) is an early in" rel="nofollow">intervention approach for addressin" rel="nofollow">ing substance abuse concerns and risks amongst adolescents. The SBIRT assessment tools allow practitioners to work collaboratively with an in" rel="nofollow">individual at risk and work to develop an in" rel="nofollow">intervention prior to the need of in" rel="nofollow">intensified and specialized care.
