Do you have any special interests? Do you know what a Ted Talk is? This is a lecture type of presentation,
but usually the topic is of interest to the culture today, often has to do with technology, education, science,
psychology, media, activism, etc. You can look these up and see the variety of topics covered, but the
speaker usually has a real interest, perhaps a certain level expertise. There is passion, often, which has
inspired the Ted Talk speaker. We might agree that the Ted Talk combines some professional and some
personal experience, but not necessarily. Choose wisely, something you that interests you – in your major
or personally; and go for it. Have fun with this.
