Read chapter 9 in the Nieto (2014) text, "why we teach not and review the learning resources related to teacher propositions, dispositions, and proficiencies. Reflect on your own views of teacher professionalism and the voices from the field in this module's media pieces. As you read Haney's essay, take notes on the graphic organizer in the learning resources regarding where she did or did not demonstrate the propositions, dispositions, and proficiencies as a professional and in her teaching practices. Do you view Haney as a professional? Support your response with specific references to your own view of professionalism and the Learning Resources.
