Examine in detail the three problem-solving strategies: brainstorming, diagramming, and mind mapping. For each, describe both its features and limitations (at least one of each). If you were a manager in the following challenging customer situation, which of these problem-solving strategies would be your first choice to use? Why? How would you actually implement it? (You don’t actually need to determine the solution to the problem in this essay.) Customer situation: The accounts receivable department of a “big box” store that you manage has been having problems with customers not paying their bills on time and either sending the wrong portion of their bill with their payment, or sending it but not filling it out correctly. Does the billing statement need a new, more user-friendly look to better help customers be compliant? Is there another, better solution, or is there no solution other than charging the customers late fees for non-compliance? Write a multi-paragraph response.
