Introduction
Good morning, everyone. My name is [your name] and I’m a recent graduate from [your university]. I’m here today to talk to you about diversity in the workplace.
Diversity is a term that refers to the variety of differences that exist among people. These differences can include things like race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, and socioeconomic status.
Why is diversity important in the workplace?
There are many reasons why diversity is important in the workplace. First, diversity can lead to better decision-making. When people from different backgrounds come together, they can bring different perspectives and ideas to the table. This can help to ensure that decisions are made that are in the best interests of the organization.
Second, diversity can lead to a more innovative workforce. When people from different backgrounds are able to share their ideas, it can lead to new and innovative solutions to problems.
