Decision analysis and rational decision making model

Decision analysis and rational decision making model are presented as tools to improve health care provider decisions. Clinical Decision Analysis (CDA) is always cautioned to be used as as "a reference in decision making" or "detailed care is required when interpreting the results of CDA studies and applying them to clinical practice". I argue that health care providers has no interest to use decision analysis or rational decision making support. They are complicated, they take time to develop and as evidence changes with high speed, they get out-dated quickly. Therefore the money spent for clinical decision analysis or rational decision making support tools are wasted.
Do you agree with my position? if yes, why? If no, how can we use these in medical decision making, How can we integrate them into medical decisions? What can we do to make them cost effective?
