Definition of bias as the "inclination or prejudice for or against one person or group

Introduction The Oxford Dictionary defines bias as Definition of bias as the "inclination or prejudice for or against one person or group, especially in a way considered to be unfair, a direction diagonal to". As demonstrated by Bazerman & Moore (2013), applying selective heuristics is difficult because we, as humans, are unaware of our decision-making process. Our week 2 assignment will allow us to understand and analyze research to bias.
Activity Instructions At the conclusion of Chapter 3 in Bazerman & Moore (2013), there are twelve (12) biases presented that range from availability heuristic to representativeness heuristic to confirmation heuristic bias. Choose one to research and analyze. Provide a summary of the bias with supporting research. Include at least one example (or more).
